5-10 Onboard Indicators
LAN1/LAN2 LEDs
The Ethernet ports (located beside the
VGA port) have two LEDs. On each Giga-
bit LAN port, one LED indicates activity
when blinking while the other LED may be
green, amber or off to indicate the speed
of the connection. See the table on the
right for the functions associated with the
connection speed LED.

Rear Unit ID LED (UID LED)
The rear Unit ID LED is located at the
rear og the serverboard. This LED is
used in conjunction with the rear UID
switch to provide easy identi
fi cation
of a system that might be in need of
service.
IPMI Dedicated LAN LEDs
In addition to the Gigabit Ethernet ports,
an IPMI Dedicated LAN is also located
above the Backplane USB ports 0/1 on
the X9DBL-iF. The amber LED on the
right indicates activity, while the green
LED on the left indicates the speed of
the connection. See the tables at right
for more information.

A BMC Heartbeat LED is located at LED1
on the serverboard. When LED1 is blink-
ing, BMC functions normally. See the
