Fan Header

Fan Headers
The X9DBL-iF has six fan headers (Fan1
~ Fan5 and FanA). These are all 4-pin fan
headers, however pins 1-3 are backward
compatible with traditional 3-pin fans. Fan
speed is controlled via IPMI based on the
system temperature. Refer to the table on
the right for pin de
fi nitions.
Note
: Please use all 3-pin fans or all 4-pin
fans. Do not mix 3-pin fans and 4-pin fans
on the same board.
Chassis Intrusion
A Chassis Intrusion header is located at
JL1 on the serverboard. Attach the ap-
propriate cable from the chassis to inform
you of a chassis intrusion when the chas-
sis is opened.
ATX PS/2 Keyboard and PS/2 Mouse
Ports
The ATX PS/2 keyboard and the PS/2
mouse ports are located on the I/O back-
plane. See the table on the right for pin
de
fi nitions.

Speaker (JD1)
On the JD1 header, Pins 6~7 are used
for the internal speaker. Close Pins 6~7
with a jumper or cap to use the onboard
speaker. If you wish to use an external
speaker, attach the external speaker's
cable to Pins 1~4. See the table on the
right for pin de
fi nitions.
