Power Button
The power button connection is located
on pins 1 and 2 of JF1. Momentarily
contacting both pins will power on/off
the system. This button can also be
con
fi gured to function as a suspend
button (with a setting in the BIOS). To
turn off the power when the system is
set to suspend mode, press the button
for at least 4 seconds. Refer to the
table on the right for pin de
fi nitions.

Processor Power Connector
The Reset Button connection is located
on pins 3 and 4 of JF1. Attach it to a
hardware reset switch on the computer
case. Refer to the table on the right for
pin de
fi nitions.
Main ATX Power Supply Connector
A 24-pin main power supply connector
(JPWR1), and four 8-pin CPU
power connectors (JPWR2/JPWR3/
JPWR4/JPWR5) are located on the
motherboard. These power connectors
meet the SSI EPS 12V speci
fi cation
and must be connected to your power
supply to provide adequate power to
the system. See the tables on the right
for pin de
fi nitions.
Warning
: To provide adequate power
supply to the motherboard, be sure to
connect the 24-pin ATX PWR (JPWR1),
and the
four
8-pin PWR connectors
(JPWR2/3/4/5) to the power supply.
Failure to do so may void the manufacturer
warranty on your power supply and
motherboard.
