3.2 Accessing the System

The chassis contains eight computing nodes, each removable from the rear of the chassis
while the others continue operating.

Removing a Computing Node

The two storage drives controlled by the node will power down upon removal.

1. Power down the node using the operating system or the power button.

2. Remove any cables attached to the node.

3. Push down and hold the release latch, then pull the node handle.

4. Slide the node out the chassis rear.
