Universal Serial Bus (USB) Ports
There are two USB 2.0 ports (USB0/1) and two USB 3.0 ports (USB7/8) on the I/O back panel.
The motherboard also has three front access USB 2.0 headers (USB2/3, USB4/5, USB6) and
one front access USB 3.0 header (USB10/11). The USB9 header is USB 3.0 Type A. The
onboard headers can be used to provide front side USB access with a cable (not included).
Connectors
Disk-On-Module Power Connector
The Disk-On-Module (DOM) power connectors at JSD1 and JSD2 provide 5V power to a
solid-state DOM storage device connected to one of the SATA ports. See the table below for
pin definitions.
SATA Ports
The X11SPW-CTF/-TF has eight I-SATA 3.0 ports and two S-SATA 3.0 ports that are supported
by the Intel C622 chipset.
M.2 Slot
M.2 is formerly known as Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF). The M.2 slot is designed
for internal mounting devices. The X11SPW-TF motherboard deploys an M key dedicated for
SSD devices with the ulitmate performance capability in a PCI Express 3.0 X4 interface for
native PCI-E SSD support. It can also support SATA devices.
