5-11 Onboard Indicators
IPMI Dedicated LAN Port
An IPMI Dedicated LAN port is included
on the I/O backpanel. The yellow LED
on the right indicates activity, while
the green LED on the left indicates the
speed of the connection. See the table
at right for more information.
LAN LEDs
There are two Gigabit-LAN ports, each
with two LEDs. The yellow LED indicates
activity, while the Link/Speed LED may
be green, amber or off to indicate the
speed of the connection. See the table
at right for more information.

An IPMI Heartbeat LED is located at
LED4. When LED4 blinks, the IPMI func-
tions properly. Refer to the table on the
right for details.

Unit ID LED
The Unit LED is controlled by the Unit
ID Button. It enables the user to pinpoint
this particular motherboard that may be
in need of service. Turn on the UID but-
ton in the front of the chassis or on the
motherboard's I/O panel to identify the
unit in need of servicing.

The Overheat Warning LED (LED5)
indicates a system overheat is being
