Replacing Fixed 3.5" Hard Drives
Replacing a Fixed 3.5" Hard Drive
1. Power down the node with the operating system and remove the cord from the rear of
the power supply as described in Section 3-1. Remove the node from the chassis and
remove the node cover as described previously in this section.
2. Press the latch on the HDD tray.
3. Shift the tray toward the direction of the latch.
4. Lift the hard drive up and out of the node.
5. Remove the hard drive from the tray and replace it with a new hard drive. The drive
trays are tooless.

Place the hard drive and tray in the node and secure the tray to the floor of the node.
