A+ SERVER 1012C-MRF USER'S MANUAL

VGA Enable/Disable

JPG1 allows you to enable or disable 
the VGA port. The default position is on 
pins 1 and 2 to enable VGA. See the 
table on the right for jumper settings.

Compact Flash Master/Slave Select

A Compact Flash Master (Primary)/
Slave (Secondary) Select Jumper is 
located at JCF1. Close this jumper to 
enable Compact Flash Card. For the 
Compact Flash Card or the Compact 
Flash Jumper (JCF1) to work properly,  
you will need to connect the Compact 

Flash Card power cable to JWF1 first. 

Refer to the board layout below for 
the location.

Watch Dog Enable/Disable

JWD1 enables the Watch Dog function, 
a system monitor that takes action 
when a software application freezes 
the system. Jumping pins 1-2 will have 
WD reboot the system if a program 
freezes. Jumping pins 2-3 will generate 
a non-maskable interrupt for the 
program that has frozen. See the table 
on the right for jumper settings. Watch 
Dog must also be enabled in BIOS.
