system and the solar inverter has subse-
quently disconnected from the grid. The AFI
residual current (insulation error, ground
fault) is displayed if a residual current has
occurred in the PV system and the solar
inverter has subsequently disconnected
from the grid. Ground faults are monitored
on both the AC and DC side (universal cur-
rent-sensitive FI). If this error message is
displayed, the entire PV system must be
checked for insulation errors. The mode of
functioning complies with DIN V VDE V
0126-1-1.
Fault 10
· Insulation error
Before every activation, your solar inverter
checks the PV system for possible ground
faults or insulation errors. If such an error is
detected, no feed occurs. The mode of func-
tioning complies with DIN V VDE V 0126-1-1.

· DC feed
Your solar inverter constantly monitors the
quality of the fed-in current. The solar
inverter stops the feed as soon as an

· Grid overvoltage, 1-phase
Your solar inverter constantly monitors the
voltage level of the feed-in phase. If the
level exceeds the maximum permissible
limit value, the solar inverter stops the
feed and only restarts it when the voltage
value falls below the maximum permissible
limit value.
Fault 8
· Grid undervoltage, 3-phase
Your solar inverter is equipped with intrin-
sically safe 3-phase grid monitoring accor-
ding to DIN V VDE V 0126-1-1. The voltage
level of phases L2 and L3 is constantly
monitored. If the level falls below the
minimum permissible limit value, the solar
inverter stops the feed and only restarts it
when the voltage value rises above the
minimum permissible limit value.
