3.7 Calibration steps after installation of pH-300T
Note:
1. Make sure that all wiring is connected to terminals correctly.
2. Make sure that a switch to pH mode or ORP mode is set properly.
3. It is necessary to connect a solution ground on SG terminal or make SG and REF short
circuited while installation. Please refer to
ch3.6 Wiring description of PH-300T
carefully.
pH calibration:
1.
Clean the pH electrode with distilled water, place it into a standard buffer pH7.00 and adjust
CAL button until it reaches pH7.00 on display of pH-300T.
2.
Clean the pH electrode with distilled water, place it into a standard buffer pH4.00 or
pH10.00 and adjust SLOPE button until it reaches pH4.00 or pH10.00 on display of
pH-300T.
3.
If a transmitter is used with pH-300T together, adjust CAL button on pH-300T and
transmitter respectively and adjust SLOPE button on pH-300T and transmitter respectively;
in this case, it is available to simultaneous function and thus it works that calibration can be
done on pH-300T only.
ORP calibration:
1.
Clean the ORP electrode with distilled water, place it into an ORP standard buffer and
adjust CAL button until it reaches correct ORP value.
2.
If a transmitter is used with pH-300T together, adjust CAL button on pH-300T and
transmitter respectively so that it is available to simultaneous function and thus it works that
calibration can be done on pH-300T only.
