When the openness is not proper, the remained threads get smaller or inconsistent.
In addition, the thread guide disk won’t be closed completely.

6.8 Control of the parts related to wiper

6.8.1) How to control the wiper position

1) When the height of the end of the needle at the needle plate is 19.5mm, loosen the screw for the wiper rotating

shaft collar and the screw for the wiper crank.

2) Press the oscillator link of wiper and control the wiper shaft to be around 10mm away between the wiper and

the needle.

3) Fasten the screw for the wiper rotating shaft collar and the screw for the wiper crank
4) Loosen the screw for the wiper to control the gap between the wiper bottom and the needle end at around

1mm. Then fasten the screw for the wiper.
