Error Message
Overload Overload in low speed disc
motor.
Overload in high speed disc
motor.
Wait until the motor has cooled
down. When the display returns
to the previous message, the
machine can be re-started.
Overload in water high pressure
pump.
Wait until the pump has cooled
down. When the display returns
to the previous message, the
machine can be re-started.
Overload in recirculation pump. Wait until the pump has cooled
down. When the display returns
to the previous message, the
machine can be re-started.
Overload in sample mover. Wait until the motor has cooled
down. When the display returns
to the previous message, the
machine can be re-started.
Acoustic Signal
Long beep. The selected function is
protected. It cannot be
activated.
Check the setting.
Machine Problems
Prepamatic-2 is switched on but
the display is blank
The backlight of the display has
been switched off; Prepamatic-2
is in Sleep Mode.
Press any key to re-activate the
backlight.
Disc rotates in the wrong
direction.
Wrong connection to the power
supply.
Switch two of the phases.
Motor buzzes. One phase lacking. Check all fuses of the local
power supply.
Water not draining away. Drain hose squeezed. Straighten the hose.
Drain hose clogged. Clean the hose.
Drain hose does not slope
downward.
Adjust the hose to an even
slope.
Water dripping underneath the
machine.
The water does not drain away. See above.
Cooling water stops. Water tap on mains closed. Open for water.
Filter at the water inlet blocked. Clean filter.
Wrong software setting. Check software setting.
