Prepamatic-2 is a fully au to mat ic, mi-
croprocessor-con trol led ma chine for
the prep a ra tion of all kinds of ma te -
ri als. Prepamatic-2 is es pe cial ly well
suited for lab o ra to ries where high re-
pro duc i bil i ty is es sen tial, and lab o ra t-
o ries han dling dif fi cult specimens of a
va ri e ty of ma te ri als. Prepamatic-2 will
prepare from 1 to 3 single spec i mens
at a time (or 3-9 small spec i mens in
special fi x tures). Al ter na tive ly, 3 or 6
spec i mens can be pre pared clamped in
specimen hold ers. Prepamatic-2 is available in two ver-
sions, one with fi ve grind ing/pol-
ish ing stations and one with a grinding
stone in the fi rst po si tion fol lowed by 4
grinding/ polishing stations.
