3. In Table 7-2 , for the first component in the table, write the same value in column 3
that you entered in column 2.
For subsequent components, add the wattage of the new component to the
subtotal in the previous row and write it in column 3.
4. Obtain the voltage available at your location. Consult a facilities manager at your
site to make sure you know the correct voltage.
Divide the value in column 3 (the wattage of all the components you have
configured) by the voltage at your site, and write the resulting value in column 4 of
Table 7-2 .
5. Add another pair of PDUs to the rack if the value in column 4 of Table 7-2 exceeds
15A, the recommended maximum current to draw from the A-side PDU.
