Installation
CAUTION: Before any electrical work is performed, disconnect power at the
circuit breaker or remove the fuse to avoid shock or damage to the unit.
To install Power Pack Dimmer Module(s):
Step 1. Locate a suitable mounting location adjacent to a junction box where line wiring is
to connect.
Step 2. Route wiring through 3/4 inch knock-out on junction box and secure the included
3/4 inch nipple or nipples to junction box. All power leads must be pulled into
existing junction box.
Step 3. Securely mount unit using the included 3/4 inch nipple(s) and attached mounting
brackets.
Step 4. Connect power leads according to the following sections.

To connect wiring:
Step 1. If conduit is required by local code, route low voltage wiring into adjacent junction
box and secure with the included 1/2 inch nipple.
Step 2. Connect low voltage network with Belden 1583A CAT5e cable according to the
following diagrams, depending on which model Power Pack Dimmer Module you
are installing.
Step 3. Connect all power leads within adjoining junction box according to the following
diagrams, depending on which model Power Pack Dimmer Module you are
installing.
