Available Roles
Role
is like some kind of description. Currently, there are two roles:
Monitoring
and
Storage
. They are used only to describe to which class one would like a new
rule to assign.
Managing Policy Rules
To add new rule:
1. Click
Policy
, located on the main menu.
2. Click
New rule wizard
button at the top toolbar.
3. Wizard window opens.
4. Type in new rule name.
5. Click
Next.
6. Actions list opens.
7. Click
to move actions from the list of available ones. Click
up
and
down
buttons to arrange the list of selected actions.
8. Specific action setup window opens.
9. Fill in required fields for specific action.
10. Click appropriate radio button to select preferred rule execution strategy.
11. Click
Next
to proceed to the next step, or pick more actions.
12. Conditions list opens.
