11.2 Battery defective
(only for battery-operated equipment)

Device response
After the Start screen, in mains operation mode and in
Standby mode the display
shows the crossed-out
battery symbol.
Information
condition
This display appears if the battery is defective or an
original battery has not been inserted.
Possible reasons
►Required
action(s)
Battery defective
►Insert a new, original battery.
Not an original battery
►Insert a new, original battery.
The battery should be replaced every 3 years in order to
ensure an adequate battery capacity.
11.3 Applied part temperature too low

The display shows an “L”.
Alarm condition
This display appears if the temperature of the applied part
is outside of the display range.
Possible reasons
►Required
action(s)
Temperature of the applied part < 20.0 °C
►Heat up the heating element.
