Guide to Using this Manual
This instruction manual covers a STIHL electric
chain saw which is also referred to as the saw,
power tool or machine in the descriptions.

Pictograms
The meanings of the pictograms attached to the
machine are explained in this manual.
Depending on the model concerned, the follow‐
ing pictograms may be attached to your
machine.
