Operating modes
Operation with an additional power supply unit or power supply via the central control unit (variant WPS2A)

Special operating mode
Conditions for operating the WPS2 system using a power supply provided by the motor input (terminals 1, 2):
continuous voltage at the motor outputs of the central control unit;
special functions such as stroke limiting will have to be deactivated at the central control unit;
jumper for the power supply via the motor circuit set to position

The current draw of the WPS2 system is an additional load on the motor current circuit. In the design of motor
power supply and wiring allowance must be made for this additional load.

The WPS2/A system provides anti-trapping protection for automatically operated (“power-operated”) windows and louv-
re systems. If any of the connected sensors indicates a hazard or if the WPS2/A system detects the failure of a sensor,
the system will stop the window from closing and even reversing the operation if necessary.
It should be checked If downstream drives and control units allow reversing during operation. If necessary,
reversing has to be deactivated by setting the reversing time (Reversierungszeit) to 0.

Operating states
Normal operation:
According to the setting, the WPS2 system will monitor the sensors during closing and, if necessa-
ry, prevent the connected drives from closing the window.
RWA/SHE:
When the SHE function is active, the window drives will not be monitored by the sensors (WPS2/B).
/Emergency close:
The WPS2 system will close all the connected drives as long as motor voltage is applied to the
input (WPS2/B).
Fault state:
The WPS2 monitoring system has detected a fault and will prevent the operation of the drives.
