Tie Down Channel
Long Side:
Welded to Hooklift Base.
Long Side:
Bolted to Truck Frame Rail.
Torqued to 160 ft-lbs.
Short Sides:
Bolted together. Bottom Tie Down
is flush with top of truck frame rail.
Once the back tie downs are attached
to the mounting flange, shorten the truck
frame to within 2” of the hooklift base.
Two sets of tie downs should be
placed as close to the pivot
point as possible.
Front tie down must be
within 2” of the front
plate of the hooklift. Be
sure to allow plenty of
room if using optional
tarper system.
