● For safe operation, the motor will not start unless the SPM is less than 5 when
ICARE first starts. If the SPM is greater than 5, a message “STAND STILL UN -
TIL ICARE STARTS” will appear. Make sure you stand still and hold on to the
handrail to get ready for motor starting.
CUSTOM
A heart rate control program, CUSTOM allows you to determine your target heart
rate. The CUSTOM heart rate setting range is 84 to 199 beats per minute, with
a default setting of 120 beats per minute. Upon entering this workout, “ENTER
TARGET HR” will appear on the exercise feedback screen. The default setting,
120, will flash. Use ▲/▼ keys or numeric keys (0-9) to increase or decrease your
target heart rate. Press the ENTER key to confirm your setting. Follow prompts
to establish speed and begin your workout.
OPERATION User Preferences and Component Versions
Basic settings determine units of measure and show total distance and time,
along with display and drive board program version numbers. To access
this information, at the startup banner screen, hold the ENTER key for three
seconds.
UNITS
The display will show “UNIT – MILE” or “UNIT – KM” depending on the original
distance unit setting. Press ▲/▼ keys to toggle between the two settings. When
your preference appears, press the ENTER key to make your selection.
TOTAL DISTANCE
According to the speed unit setting, total distance will appear as either “DIST
– XXXXXX MILE” or “DIST – XXXXXX KM”, where XXXXXX represents a
number. Press the ENTER key to view total time.
TOTAL TIME
Total time of use will appear as “TIME – XXXXXX HOUR”, where XXXXXX
represents a number. Press the ENTER key to view the total kilowatts produced.
DISPLAY PROGRAM VERSION
The display program version will appear as “CTL XE872MAH – XX”, where XX
represents either letters or numbers. Press the ENTER key to view the drive
board program version.
DRIVE BOARD PROGRAM VERSION
The drive board program version will appear as “DRV E872MA - XX”, where XX
represents either a letter or a number. Press the ENTER key to view the remote
control program version.
REMOTE CONTROL PROGRAM VERSION
The wired remote control program will display its version “LINE VERSION-XX”,
where XX represents either letters or numbers. Press ENTER key to exit. At any
time during the basic setting protocol, press the STOP key to exit the procedure
and return to the startup banner screen.
