10.3 Emptying of the pan for filter replacement and radiator cleaning
With this procedure you will start removing part of the used oil.
The total removal will only take place with further steps
Select the
icon in the “Manual” menu. You will access the following screen.
During this phase the station is predisposed to collect used oil coming from the vehicles.
Turn on the vehicle’s engine and place the gearshift on “P” to drain the oil from the pan.
Turn the engine off immediately when you can see air bubbles on the used oil flowmeter and the pressure on
the gauge falls towards the zero. This indicates that the oil pan has been almost completely emptied.
Remove the oil pan by unscrewing all the connecting
screws.
On the display, you will see the quantity of oil collected
from the pan in the “OLD” field (you can see it in red in the
picture), while the numerica value underlined in green
represents the total oil in the used oil internal tank.
