How not to store the reading
Press the
O/I
button while the reading is being displayed. Keep the button pressed
until CL is flashing and then release it. Confirm by pressing the M -button.
Discontinuing a measurement
If it is necessary to interrupt a blood pressure measurement for any reason (e.g.
the patient feels unwell), the « O/I » button can be pressed at any time. The pres-
sure in the cuff is immediately reduced.
Recalibration (« TEST » mode) in case of absurd results of measurement, press
on the button « TEST » to recalibrate. An aural signal announces in the end of the
calibration.
6. CLAIMS OF USE
6.1. Planned uses
• Measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure, pulse on arm
• Use on adults only
• Use at home and in support of treatment.
6.2. Restrictions of use
• Do not use on children or infants.
• Not suitable for measurement on an unscheduled body part, such as wrist or leg.
• Not suitable if the cuff is not placed at the correct height on the arm.
• Not suitable if the cuff used is not the right size.
• Sit in a quiet environment for at least 5 minutes taking the measurement.
• In no case should you change the doses of medication prescribed by your doctor.
• The measurement of blood pressure can not be done outside the expected envi-
ronmental ranges: 10-40 ° C and relative humidity between 15-90%.
• Not suitable for use in a vibration emitting environment, electromagnetic field,
direct sunlight, etc.
Thus, the ES-60® Electronic Blood Pressure Monitor is not suitable for use during
patient transport and is not compatible with electrosurgery.
