FILE NAME
The voice recorder has two file name formats:
1. Normal format : a « G_ :» prefix and six decimal digits. Since the prefix is the same for all files, it
won’t appear in the
Next №:
line. You can only select this format but you cannot change its value.
Filenames are automatically formed by adding 1 to the digital part of every new filename.
2. Special format : eight digits, which can be changed by user.
This mode allows to record in existing file without changing of the file name. In this case record-
ing will be made to the file end as long as there is not size limit for
wav
-files 2 GB exceeded. After that
voice recorder will switch automatically to the mode with Normal file name format, will create new file
and will continue recording. Also, when re-recording in the already existing file, the voice recorder will
set the necessary parameters, that are specific for this file.
For changing special file name format perform the following actions.
Switch the voice recorder on, as described on p. 12.
Select of the file name format
Press the button once.
The
Settings screen will appear on the display with setting
parameters of the voice recorder.
For choosing a file name format, select a menu item with
the
or buttons, e.g.,
Next №: 001532
Press the button.
Press the or button to select normal Next №: 001532
or special file name format Next №: 11111111
Press the button.
If the file name format has been changed, the Save message will appear.
Press the or button to select the necessary answer.
Choose
Yes
to confirm changes.
Choose
No
to exit the Settings screen.
