empty

 

when

 

really

 

needed,

pressure

cylinder

3.2.

 

Tightness

 

and

 

function

 

tests

 

The

 

following

 

tests

 

shall

 

be

 

performed

 

before

 

donning

 

the

 

apparatus.

 

3.2.1.

 

Medium

 

pressure

 

tightness

 

Lock

 

the

 

regulator

 

by

 

pressing

 

the

 

side

 

push

 

button.

 

Open

 

Cylinder

 

valve

 

and

 

make

 

sure

 

there

 

are

 

no

 

audible

 

leaks

 

from

 

MP

 

hoses.

 

If

 

necessary

 

use

 

soapy

 

water

 

to

 

spot

 

the

 

leak.

 

Check

 

specially

 

that

 

there

 

are

 

no

 

leaks

 

from

 

the

 

male

 

connector

 

of

 

the

the

 

acoustic

 

warning

 

device

 

With

 

closed

 

regulator

 

and

 

open

 

cylinder,

 

press

 

the

 

regulator’s

 

rubber

 

button

vent

plenty

 

of

 

air;

 

shut

 

the

 

regulator

 

with

 

the

 

special

 

button,

 

disconnect

 

the

 

air

 

line

 

from

 

the

way

 

valve

 

and,

 

at

 

this

 

stage,

 

open

 

again

 

the

 

regulator

 

by

 

acting

 

on

 

the

 

rubber

 

button

 

whilst

 

stopping

 

the

 

air

 

from

 

flowing

 

with

 

the

 

palm

 

of

 

your

 

hand.

 

Gently

 

discharge

 

air

 

intermittently

 

until

 

when

 

a

 

loud

 

sounding

 

vibration

 

is

 

heard.

 

Block

 

the

 

regulator

 

by

 

acting

 

on

 

the

 

side

 

button

 

to

 

avoid

 

a

 

further

 

and

 

useless

 

waste

 

of

 

air.

 

3.3.

 

Apparatus

 

donning

belt.

straps

adjustable

 

in

worn

side

 

and

 

can

 

be

 

fixed

 

to

 

the

 

leg

 

with

 

the

 

special

 

strap.

The

 

opening

 

valve

 

shall

 

be

 

opened

 

until

 

it

 

stops.

 

3.4.

 

Use

the

 

apparatus

 

is

 

donned

 

and

 

all

 

settings

 

are

 

done

 

it

 

is

 

possible

 

to

 

use

  

the

 

apparatus.

breath

regulator

 

opens

starts

 

delivering

 

air

 

on

 

demand

hose

free

 

movement

 

of

 

the
