RECOMMENDED THERMOSTAT SENSOR LOCATION 

 

 

 

The thermostat sensor should be located approximately 10ft from side of the heater as shown in Figure 1 and at 
distances from burner box as shown in chart of Figure 2 below. Ideally this should also be located between the 
feed and drink lines. Avoid locating the sensor in a direct draft such as in front of a fan or between the fan and a 
door. The result can cause overrunning of the heater and excess fuel consumption.
