2 Start-up and Operation
2.1 Switch on the main power.
2.2 Turn on the “Power” switch on the control panel to switch on the circuit.
2.3 Press the “Start” button on the control panel for a few seconds to start the diesel engine. Note: If the
start-up fails, please restart in 3 minutes.
2.4 After the diesel engine is started successfully and operates stably switch the operating mode. Do not
operate the compressor in the unload mode for extended periods.
2.5 Turn the “LOAD/ UNLOAD” switching valve to “+” position, and the compressor will operate with
load. Then, the compressor enters normal operating state, and carries out regulation and control
full-automatically according to the air consumption.
2.6 Check the air volume automatic adjustment system: gradually turn down the air supply ball valve to
gradually increase the discharge pressure. The set pressure of the pressure regulator is the rated
discharge pressure of the compressor. When this pressure is reached, the intake valve servo cylinder
shall automatically expand and contract, and the diesel engine speed will drop to the lowest speed (idle
speed). On the contrary, gradually open the air supply ball valve. After the pressure is reduced, the
speed of the diesel engine will be increased to the maximum speed to achieve the function of
automatically adjusting the air consumption.
2.7 Recommendations:
A If the actual operating pressure you need is lower than the rated exhaust pressure of the compressor, it
is recommended to reduce the set pressure of the pressure regulator appropriately, which is conducive to
energy saving.
Do not increase the maximum discharge pressure above the rated pressure of the
compressor
B If the maximum air consumption of the air equipment is less than the rated displacement of the
compressor, it is recommended to appropriately lower the position of the highest throttle of the diesel
engine, which is also conducive to energy saving.
3 Stop
3.1 Turn “LOAD/ UNLOAD” switching valve to UNLOAD position.
3.2 Open the air supply ball valve to make it at full open position.
3.3 When the pressure in the oil-air tank drops below about 0.5Mpa, press the “Stop” button for 2
seconds, the diesel engine will be turned off, and the compressor will stop. The air release valve will be
automatically opened to release the compressed air in the oil- air tank.
3.4 Turn off the “power” switch on the control panel.
3.5 Switch off the main power.
