The pointer does not move (while using the pointing device or mouse). 

Press the Windows key on the keyboard, and press the "U" key to select Turn Off Computer. When the "Turn off
computer" dialog box appears, press the "R" key to restart the computer. 

If you cannot turn off your computer as described in the step above, press the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys (at the same
time) to restart the computer. 

If you cannot restart your computer as described in the step above, press and hold the power button for at least
four seconds to turn off the computer. 

If the pointer does not move while playing a disc, press the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys (at the same time) to stop
playback and restart the computer.
