3-3-1. Setting the number of divisions
The number of divisions (number of interpolations) is the number of times the wavelength
for an input signal is divided. The default setting is 800 divisions.
To change the number of divisions (number of interpolations), set mode switche 1-6 and
mode switches 2-1 and 2-2 as shown in the table below.

The output phase difference for the MJ620 changes continuously from the minimum phase
difference at a width of N
x
100 ns (N: integer) according to the travel speed of the encoder.
Refer to Fig. 3-1 for the definition of phase difference.

In some cases, the connected receiver may not be able to receive the signal since the
minimum phase difference of the A/B phase signal is so short.
Be sure to use a travel speed for the encoder that the receiver is able to handle.

An alarm is generated when the A/B phase signal phase difference drops below the setting
value. The setting value can be selected from four preset choices using the mode switch
