Recording as the Caller / Recording as the Call Destination
This chapter describes recording functions with the HD RECORDING
SERVER operating as the caller or the call destination.
Recording as the Caller
Use RSOnline to specify a meeting to record with this method.
This method involves the terminal participating in the meeting.
In this method, the HD RECORDING SERVER connects to a session that is
open (i.e., not in use). Therefore, the user does not have to consider which
session to use.
Recording as the Call Destination
Use VCOnline to specify the HD RECORDING SERVER to record with this
method.
This method involves the MCU calling the terminal.
In this method, the MCU side does not know which sessions are open on the
HD RECORDING SERVER.
If an HD RECORDING SERVER session that is already recording is called,
recording will be performed on to an open session. However, this assignment
function will not work when using the HD VISUAL COMMUNICATION
SERVER.
