Recording Meetings via PC Endpoint

Open the call management panel, specify the H.323 alias, E.164 number,
or IP address of the HD RECORDING SERVER in [Specify Destination]
(ex: recording1), and click the [Invite] button.
The HD RECORDING SERVER connects to the meeting, and recording
starts.
The appearance of the called HD RECORDING SERVER in the member
list under the [Participants] tab of PC Endpoint will indicate that recording
has started.
Be aware that there are some limitations when using this method.
• Each HD RECORDING SERVER includes multiple H.323 aliases and E.164
numbers to be used for the HD RECORDING SERVER. However, each recording
session uses one alias (i.e., H.323 alias or E.164 number).
When you start recording by calling the HD RECORDING SERVER from PC
Endpoint, the usage status cannot be viewed. Therefore, if the specified alias of the
HD RECORDING SERVER is already in use, it cannot be called.
In such cases, specify a different H.323 alias, E.164 number, etc.
In addition, the HD RECORDING SERVER cannot be called by IP address if it has
already been called by IP address to another meeting.
• When you start recording by calling the HD RECORDING SERVER from PC
Endpoint, you cannot specify the recording layout during H.239 content sharing. The
H.239 layout during recording will be based on the system settings of the HD
RECORDING SERVER.
If you want to specify the H.239 layout, start recording by specifying the meeting via
RSOnline.
Recording stops automatically when the HD RECORDING SERVER is
disconnected from the meeting.

Select the HD RECORDING SERVER (ex: recording1) in the participant
list under the [Meeting] tab of the call management panel.

Right-click the mouse, and select [Drop Meeting Participants].
The HD RECORDING SERVER exits the meeting, and recording stops
automatically.
You can also exit the meeting by selecting [Withdraw All].
Recording will continue when terminals other than the HD RECORDING SERVER
exit the meeting.
To make sure that recording does not continue, perform the procedure above to
disconnect the HD RECORDING SERVER from the meeting, or exit the meeting after
stopping the recording.
