3-2. W/B Adjustment
3-2-1. W/B Adjustment (9300K)
1.
Connect the SXGA 100% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A connector and select COMPUTER as
SIGNAL SELECT.
2.
Set CONTRAST to 90.
3.
Enter the white balance adjustment and proceed to the
9300K GAIN adjustment mode.
4.
Increase GREEN GAIN from 140 using the
[LEFT]
and
[RIGHT]
keys until the brightness reaches
saturation.
5.
Set RED GAIN and BLUE GAIN to the value set at
step 4.
6.
Set CONTRAST to 80.
7.
While keeping BLUE GAIN as a fixed value, decrease
the values of RED GAIN and GREEN GAIN so that
the chroma satisfies the following specifications.
Specified value : x : 0.284
±
0.002
y : 0.297
±
0.002
8.
Input the SXGA 10% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A connector.
9.
Enter the 9300K BIAS adjustment mode.
10. Set BLUE BIAS to 85 and adjust the values of RED
BIAS and GREEN BIAS using the
[LEFT]
and
[RIGHT]
keys so that the chroma satisfies the follow-
ing specifications.
Specified value : x : 0.284
±
0.002
y : 0.297
±
0.002
11. Input the SXGA 100% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A connector again and perform step 7.
12. Repeat steps 7 through 11 until both the values of steps
7 and 10 meet the specifications.
13. Press the MEMORY button to save the values.
14. Copy the adjustment data in PRESET1 of the white
balance adjustment.
3-2-2. W/B Adjustment (6500K)
1.
Connect the SXGA 100% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A signal and select COMPUTER as SIGNAL
SELECT.
2.
Set CONTRAST to 90.
3.
Enter the white balance adjustment and proceed to the
6500K GAIN adjustment mode.
4.
Increase GREEN GAIN from 140 using the
[LEFT]
and
[RIGHT]
keys until the brightness reaches
saturation.
5.
Set RED GAIN and BLUE GAIN to the value set at
step 4.
6.
Set CONTRAST to 80.
7.
When keeping GREEN GAIN as a fixed value, adjust
the values of RED GAIN and BLUE GAIN so that the
chroma satisfies the following specifications.
Specified value : x : 0.313
±
0.002
y : 0.329
±
0.002
8.
Input the SXGA 10% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A connector.
9.
Enter the 6500K BIAS adjustment mode.
10. Set GREEN BIAS to 85 and adjust the values of RED
BIAS and BLUE BIAS using the
[LEFT]
and
[RIGHT]
keys so that the chroma satisfies the follow-
ing specifications.
Specified value : x : 0.313
±
0.002
y : 0.329
±
0.002
11. Input the SXGA 100% flat field 60 Hz signal to the
INPUT-A connector again and perform step 7.
12. Repeat steps 7 through 11 until both the values of steps
7 and 10 meet the specifications.
13. Press the MEMORY button to save the values.
14. Copy the adjustment data in PRESET2 of the white
balance adjustment.
