Thank you for purchasing the Sony Hi-Fi Component System. This
series is packed with fun features. Here are just a few:
• DBFB (Dynamic Bass Feedback) system that boosts low frequency
range audio to provide deep, powerful bass sound
• A preset feature, that lets you store and recall up to 40 (30 for
customers in Germany and Italy) of your favourite radio stations

Before operating the unit
Remove the transit key on the bottom of the unit by following the
instructions on the label, and keep it in a safe place.
The transit key protects the optical system against shock during
transportation.
To re-install the transit key when transporting the unit

Remove all CDs.

Press OPEN/CLOSE to close the disc tray and confirm that
”
1 (or 2 , 3 ...)” has disappeared from the display.
3 Turn off the power.
4 Insert the transit key into its hole to lock.
