5-5-4.  Adjustment Method of Each Item

(1) PRESET ADJ

•  Get the zoom end AD value.

•  Perform switch inspection.

•  Adjust/inspection the focusing ring.

•  Adjust the MR sensor of zoom and focus.

•  Adjust the position detection hall element for shake compensation.

•  Adjust the PWM frequency of focus.

•  Perform electric current self-diagnosis of focus.

•  Adjust the mechanical end of focus.

•  Adjust the horizontal level.

•  Perform thermistor inspection.

•  Perform actuator damage inspection.

Shooting Mode of the camera P mode (Program Auto)

Preparations

In the “PRESET ADJ”, it is necessary to rotate the focusing ring in 

accurately one rotation when adjust/inspection. Please stick the tape 

etc. for checking the initial position of the focusing ring.

 

Tape etc.

When rotating the focusing ring, it is necessary to keep rotating at 

a constant speed. Place the lens body on the front side facing down 

and rotate the focusing ring in a stable condition.

Adjusting Method

1.  Click the [PRESET ADJ] button in the Adjustment and Inspec-

tion.

2.  Since get of the zoom end AD value is started, operate the zoom-

ing ring accordance with the message.

 

 

Zooming ring

3.  After get of the zoom end AD value is completed, starts the 

switch inspection. Operate the focus-hold button in accordance 

with the message.
