4. Insert the optical axis adjustment pin in the position shown below
(2 places) until it stops.
5. Insert the optical axis adjustment spring and attach the three
screws.

6. Tighten the three screws and then loosen them evenly by 2 turns.
7. Lift up the end of the B06 frame assy and confirm that the maxi-
mum thickness B06 frame washer is insertable.
8. Insert the minimum thickness B06 frame washer and confirm
that do not cause backlash.
9. Assemble up to the mount assy without attaching the rear outer
ring assy and tripod ring fitting tube, referring to the “2-3. AS-
SEMBLY”.
10. Attach the checking lens to the flange back tester referring to
the steps 1 to 3 of “Preparations of Using a Camera (General
Emount Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera)” or “Preparations
of Using a B-L Control Box”, and set the 1000 mm collimator.
11. Set the zoom to the WIDE end.
12. Adjust the optical axis by increase or decrease the thickness of
the B06 frame washer so that the ring chart image is centered
while looking at the 1000 mm collimator.

13. Perform the “5-2-2. Optical Axis Check”, check that the optical
axis of checking lens satisfies the specification.
14. Remove the rear tube assy, tighten the three screws loosened in
step 6 and then loosen them evenly by 1/2 turns.
15. After removing the optical axis adjustment pin inserted in step 4,
assemble up to the mount assy without attaching the rear outer
ring assy and tripod ring fitting tube, referring to the “2-3. AS-
SEMBLY”.
16. Then perform
“5-4-1. Partial Blur Adjustment (B06 frame assy)”
