4-4-10. Creating of Windows 2000 Setup Boot

Disk

In case the file required to operate OS is corrupted due to

some reason and unable to start the system, “Setup Boot
Disk” is needed to start and recover the system. Prepare

this in advance.

n

4 floppy disks are necessary for this operation.

1.

Insert Windows 2000 Professional CD-ROM into CD-

ROM drive.

2.

Double click 

D:\BOOTDISK\MAKEBT32.exe

.

4.

Check the following check boxes in “Options” box.

.

Dump Symbol Table.

.

Dump All Thread Contexts.

.

Append To Existing Log File.

.

Create Crash Dump File.

5.

Click “OK” button.
