the grayscale chart.
3. Set the menu as follows, and adjust the white limiter
by using the MENU SEL switch.

necessary.
Equipment
: Color monitor, Viewfinder or Waveform/
Vector monitor
Preparations:

Connect the waveform/vector monitor to the TEST OUT
connector.
. Shoot a person’s face.
. Set the DISP switch (on the side panel) from OFF to
MENU while holding down the MENU SEL switch (on
the front panel). Set the menu as follows.

1. Set the menu as follows.

2. Set the menu as follows, and adjust the amount of the
skin detail signal to the desired level according to the
following items by using the MENU SEL switch.
MENU : Paint
PAGE : Skin Detail (P4)
ITEM : Level (Detail level within the skin gate)
ITEM : Phase (Hue)
ITEM : Sat (Component in the saturation direction)
ITEM : Width (Component in the hue direction)
(The effective area of the skin detail signal appears in
a zebra pattern on the viewfinder screen. Set the
desired level.)
