INIT DATA Menu Item List

This section explains the items in the INIT DATA menu.

SHOW START TIME setting

STRT = 00 00 00 00 to 23 59 59 29

Sets the default R-VTR IN point value for first
edits.

SHOW START TIME is used if the R-VTR IN point
is undefined when the first edit is executed. It is
used to calculate the total time displayed in the
recorder time counter display panel (total time =
recorder IN point timecode - SHOW START
TIME).

Factory default setting: UNDEFINED

Enter a value with the numeric keypad and
confirm by pressing the ENTER button.

If less than 8 digits have been input when the
ENTER button is pressed, the most significant
digits of the 8-digit value are set to 0.

If you press the ENTER button with nothing
displayed in the scratchpad, the message STRT =
UNDEFINED  appears and no setting is made.

If you do not specify a show time, the total time
display is based on the recorder IN point of the
first edit (the smallest recorder IN point registered
in the EDL).
