8       Appendix 2

If your device is not listed click the plus sign then your device should appear 
in the list with a COM port number:

7.  Upgrading the S0 v2 Radio Broadcast Mixer Firmware

If not already installed, download and install the SCI 2 Software from 
the Sonifex Support website: http://www.sonifex.co.uk/technical/
software/sci/setup.exe

Power up the S0 v2 mixer and connect a USB cable from your PC to the 
‘Serial’ socket on the desk.

If your device still does not appear, click  
‘Discover Devices’ from the drop down menu.  
Then either click ‘File and Save from the menu, 
or ‘Save’ when prompted (after clicking ‘x’ to 
close the window).

Click on the discovered mixer from the Launch 
screen.  This will then bring up the S0 v2 Mixer 
options.

Open the SCI 2 Software, the following screen should 
appear:
