Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later
reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language. This appliance may only be used by
persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as
children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance
and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit.
Children may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision. After unpacking the unit,
confirm that it has not been damaged during transit. Keep the packaging away from children if it contains plastic bags
or other potentially hazardous components.
RESETTING THE UNIT
The microprocessor data requires resetting in situations where the power supply is lost or the unit (including its
display) acts erratically. In order to do so, press the
RESET
button for 3 seconds, located on the front panel using
a thin, sharp object. The equipment will switch off and will return to factory default condition. This operation is
required after installation, before switching on the unit for the first time, and when the vehicle’s battery is replaced.
ON- AND OFF SWITCHING
In case of proper connection, current time is visible on the display in switched off position. To switch on the unit, press
POWER/MODE
button briefly. To switch it off, keep holding it for 2 seconds. With repeated brief pressing of it, you can
change operation mode: radio- MP3 playback – AUX input
• Later on, it will automatically switch to the most recently used function after being switched on unless the external
storage device has been removed in the meantime.
• Since voltage surges can occur when the vehicle’s engine is started, only turn on the unit after the engine has been
started. Turn off the unit before stopping the engine.
VOLUME AND TONE SETTING
Use the
rotating knob
to set the desired volume level: VOL 00…63. Press briefly, repeatedly the
rotating knob
till the desired volume or tone function appears on the display. After you can modify setting by rotating the knob

EQ ON:
in switched on EQ mode, the traditional high-low (TREBLE, BASS) equalizer is not available.

in order to use treble-bass equalizer, switch off the EQ settings.
• When listening to music on higher volume, do not emphasize significantly high and low tones, as this may cause distortion!
LOUDNESS - PHYSIOLOGICAL TONE ADJUSTMENT
The human ear perceives less of low and high frequency sounds at smaller volume. By turning
LOUDNESS
function on,
automatic tone adjustment will correct this effect at low volume. The lower the volume, the higher the bass and treble
frequency boost. It is recommended to switch off this function at big volume, since it may cause distorted sound,
• In order to get better sound quality, before using this function it is recommended to choose EQ OFF setting, and set the
equalizers to „0” position.
• The larger the volume, the less noticeable effect on the automatic tone correction.
SETTING THE CURRENT TIME
Switch on the unit with
POWER/MODE
button, then keep holding
CLOCK/MUTE
button for 2 seconds. Clock will
appear on display. Press
CLOCK/MUTE
button again for 2 seconds before disappears, and clock will start flashing.
Set the number of hours with the rotating knob, then press the rotating knob to store it and step forward to set
minutes. Till the minutes display is flashing, set it as well with the rotating knob. Finally press the rotating knob
to store settings and exit from this function.
• If you are waiting for more than 3 seconds idly during settings, the unit will exit that menu.
• Current time is visible on the display, when the unit is switched off.
• When the unit is switched on, current time can be displayed by holding
CLOCK/MUTE
button for 2 seconds, and it will be
visible for 5 seconds on the display.
SELECTION OF DATA SOURCE
You can select the desired data source by repeated pressing of
POWER/MODE
button. Available options: radio –
MP3 playback –

• Desired signal source cannot be activated, if it is not available. For example there is no USB or SD storage connected,
where the adequate MP3 files are available.
• If there is external unit connected to
USB
and
SD
slot at the same time, then

option can be selected with
POWER/MODE
button. Basically SD card is recommended to use, because of its safe location.
• After connecting external data sources, tracks from the last inserted one will be played.
• Being switched on again, playing of last listened track will continue, if the connected device has not been removed in
the meantime.
USING THE RADIO
After the unit is switched on the radio will turn on if it was being previously listened to – or the last played USB/SD
signal source has been removed. If necessary, use the
POWER/MODE
button on the front panel to select radio function.
SELECTION FROM THE STORED RADIO BANDS
Select the desired band with
BAND
button (e.g.
F1
), then select the desired programme with
1…6
number keys.
Totally 18 FM radio band can be memorised/stored.
MANUAL TUNING AND STORING RADIO STATIONS
If you know the exact frequency of the programme wanted to be heard or you would like to perform fine tuning
of previously set programme, then use of manual tuning is recommended. Select the one of
F1-F2-F3
FM band
with
BAND
button on the front panel (F1 is recommended). Keep pressing stepping forward of back buttons for 3
seconds, till
HAND
label (manual tuning) is readable on the display. Following that, frequency can get stepped with
repeated brief pressing of stepping forward or back buttons. Tuning will step up or down by 0,1 MHz on the band
with every press of buttons. After the desired radio station has been tuned, keep holding one of buttons from 1 to
6 to store it. Displaying of actual FM band (F1-F2-F3) and within that the used memory place (S1 … S6) as well is
visible on the display for a short time. Stored programmes can be selected by the number keys. Actual FM band and
included storage place is readable on the display. E.g.: F2-P6 means 6. programme on FM 2 band.
• If you do not press any button for 3 seconds, then the radio will return to automatic tuning after displaying AUTO
label – this is default setting.
• Totally 18 FM radio station can be stored on FM1-FM2-FM3 bands. 6 – 6 stations can be stored in any case. If you
choose 4th storage place of FM2 band, then you have to select FM2 band first (BAND), after press the 4. number key.
• If one storage is place is already used, then the content will be deleted, and new station frequency will be stored.
• If the unit is being used at a distance from the original tuned location – such as when travelling – the same station
might have to be tuned in again on a different frequency. The same program is broadcast on different frequencies in
different geographical locations!
AUTOMATIC TUNING AND STORING
Keep
AMS
button pressed for 2 seconds for automatic searching and storing of radio stations can be received at the
place of use. Process of tuning and storing can be followed on the display. All receivable frequency will be controlled.
The better the conditions for reception, the more stations will be found. After checking the full band, all found stations
will be introduced briefly.
• After the tuning has finished, a few seconds broadcasting will be audible from each found radio station automatically.
Introduction function can be switch off with repeated press of AMS.
• Take into consideration that unit will skip stations with weaker reception, and the stations may be stored in a different
sequence what you have defined.
• Select manual tuning and storing in order to perform custom settings.
• After brief pressing of
AMS
, a few minutes long introduction is audible from all programmes of stored radio station.
Introduction function can be switched off by repeated pressing of
AMS
button or the pressing the number of selected
programme.
PLAYBACK FROM USB/SD/ STORAGE
If you wish to listen to music from a USB/SD source instead of listening to the radio, simply connect the external
storage. The unit will detect this and start playback automatically. USB or SD denomination is visible on the display for
a few seconds, after stepping, the number of file, and then the elapsed time of it. Available functions of MP3 player:
: play or pause.
: press the buttons briefly to reach the previous or next tracks. If you are keep holding them, quick search will
start in the song, while the speakers are muted.

• Recommended file system of memory is: FAT32. Do not use memory unit with NTFS format!
