CONNECTION
Right side speaker channel will be sound on the active speaker box,
which is equipped with control assets. When it is switched off, get the
passive sound box of
the
left speaker channel connected with the
black plug. The ends of the wires should be inserted to the openings,
using the spring clamps. The bare ends of the wires must not touch
each other. Switch on the product only after that!
•
It is forbidden to connect a speaker other than the passive sound box
supplied with the active sound box!
•
Watch out for a stable, circuit proof connection which is
corresponding to the required polarity! Red/black colour:
positive/negative polarity.
•
If you wish to place the sound boxes away from each other, obtain a
suitable length speaker cable with a minimum cross-section of
2
2x0.75mm .
In addition to the loudspeaker output, the following connection options
are available: right and left channel stereo audio input (red “R” and
white “L” RCA),
MIC1
and
MIC2
microphone input (
Ć
6,3 mm), USB
and SD connection.
VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
There are two options to set the desired volume. The main regulator
(VOLUME)
is the rotatable knob placed on the top of the side of the
device. You can also set the volume by pressing the
PREV/CH-
and
NEXT/CH+
buttons when using BT-FM-USB-SD functions.
•
If you have limited the volume by pressing the PREV / CH and NEXT /
CH + buttons, you can not increase the volume with the knob over a
certain level, and vice versa.
•
It is advisable to keep both controllers at the level where they still have
the required volume level. The unreasonably high volume setting can
cause noise and distortion to increase in some sources.
MAXIMUM VOLUME
All speakers have to be broken in prior to proper use. Operate only at
50 % load for the first 30–50 hours of operation! During this time, do not
raise the volume near the top of the maximum load ability! At higher
volume settings – in some cases – distorted, bad sound quality may be
experienced. This may be caused by an overly high input signal level.
In case of distorted sound set the volume down immediately, or shut
down the appliance if necessary! Connecting the wrong signal level
devices can easily cause over-control. The maximum volume of the
system is that which can be heard in high quality without distortion.
•
When turning the volume up beyond this point, output power will not
increase, while the distortion level will grow! This is very harmful to the
speakers and may lead to faults!
INSTALLATION, SELECTION OF THE FUNCTIONS
Set a low volume with the top VOLUME control on the side panel. If
you want to connect an external device to AUDIO INPUT or MIC
sockets, always do it when the device is turned off! Then switch the
POWER
switch into
ON
position. The amplifier turns on, the red LED
lights up. Press INPUT on the control panel repeatedly to select the
desired function:
BT - AUX - RADIO - USB / SD
.
•
In FM radio mode, the subtitles under the buttons are valid.
•
BT-USB-SD mode can not be activated unless the device is
connected.
BT- WIRELESS CONNECTION
Beside wired input, it is available to connect external devices through
wireless BT connection. This can be e.g. mobile phone with BT
protocol, tablet, computer or smart TV. Select the
BT
mode (the red
LED will flash) with the
INPUT
button of the control panel. Search for
BT devices nearby, including this one, as shown in the instruction
manual of the device to be paired. Connect the two devices to each
other. In case of success the BT sign lights up continuously and the
selected programme will be audible through the speaker. Use PLAY /
PAUSE and PREV / CH and NEXT / CH + buttons to control the music
player of the mobile device.
•
Before starting the procedure, disconnect other BT devices
connected previously.
•
One speaker can be paired wirelessly with one BT appliance at the
same time.
•
After switching on, it will automatically re-connect to the previously
paired and properly connected device if it is switched on nearby.
•
In case the wireless connection would lost, switch off and back on if
necessary, in order to reactivate the pairing mode.
•
If the connected mobile phone receives call during music playback,
music playing will be paused. After the conversation has finished,
restart the playing on the phone.
•
Actual operation range depends on the other device and the
environmental conditions. (e.g. walls, human bodies, other electric
appliances, moving…)
•
Radio-frequency operated devices working in the near may cause
irregular operation or noise, it doesn't indicate malfunction of the
device!
•
Unique features of the external device can cause irregular operation,
this is not the malfunction of the device! Due to unique features of the
mobile device, the BT function may work limited.
AUX - STEREO AUDIO INPUT
If you have such device which is equipped with 2xRCA audio output or
3,5/6,3 mm headphone socket, then you can listen to it through the
external speaker in good quality. Obtain the appropriate cable for the
device to be connected and connect its 2xRCA plug to the audio box
(AUDIO INPUT)
. Turn on the signal source and start playing. Press the
INPUT
button until you hear the signal source.
•
The available sound quality depends on the quality of audio signal
provided by the external device, as well as it's volume and sound
settings.
•
It is recommended to switch off tone adjustment on the player device,
and use only on the speaker box.
•
The small signal (volume) entering the sound box may cause
excessive noise and the too big signal can cause distortion. It is
recommended to keep the volume of signal source at medium level.
RADIO – THE USE OF THE FM RADIO
Select the radio mode with the
INPUT
button. In this case the subtitles
under the buttons are valid. To start the automatic tuning and storing,
press the
SCAN
button. Search stops when it detects changing signal
