Meaning

Untransferred recording. Overwrite?

This message appears when a performed
measurement has not been transferred yet.
Connect the device with the docking station to
transfer the measurement. If you wish to
delete the measurement, confirm with

“yes”.

Missing Sensors. Continue?

Warning that a sensor is missing. If you
continue, the sensor remains part of the
montage.

New montage? New montage will be
configured during signal check based on
connected sensors.

The programmed montage will be deleted on
confirmation. The montage is then defined by
the insertion of the requested sensors during
the signal view without further notification.

Recording duration too long. Possible
duration with selected montage: xx h
with/out BT

Warning when the battery voltage is too low.

Calibration failed. The following sensors
are not plugged in:

Error message during blood pressure
calibration. Plug in the missing sensors
(blinking sensor symbols).

Calibration failed. Check the correct
position of the sensors.

Error message during blood pressure
calibration. The sensors are plugged-in, but
the signal quality is poor. Check the fit of the
SpO2 sensor and/ or the ECG sensor.

Calibration failed

Error message when calibration failed due to
poor signal quality. If you wish to repeat the
calibration, check the signal quality before
proceeding and make sure that the patient is
sitting still so that no artefacts appear.

Hold to turn off

Keep the finger on the button until the circle is
completed.

Press confirm to shutdown

Accept the request by tapping on the check
icon on the display or by pressing the confirm
button, if you want to switch off the device. To
abort the shutdown, tap on “return”.

Unknown sensor. Connect the device to
the docking station for a firmware update

The sensor is not recognized by the stored
firmware. Connect the device to the docking
station if you wish to update the firmware.

Wrong headbox plugged in! Please
change montage on the PC to continue.

Message is shown if a recording was initialised
at the PC with a headbox or it was chosen
“last” montage on the SOMNO HD

TM

 display

but the other headbox is connected to the
device. Then, the headbox is not substituted.
The user has to change the montage on the
PC or initialise a new recording on the
SOMNO HD

TM

display using a “new montage”.

Do you wish to continue with all selected
channels?

Due to automatic detection of connected
headbox channels not all channels are taken
over for the recording. Before starting a
recording the user has to confirm the take-over
of the channels.

No electrodes were recognized. Please
check all EEG electrodes again. Make
sure the ground and reference electrode
is applied. Do you still want to continue?

Due to the intelligent connect functionality for
the headboxes the electrode impedance is
checked continuously. If all impedances are >
50 k

Ω the user is asked to check the ground
