BATTERY REPLACEMENT
CONTROL MODULE BATTERIES
Inside your fireplace, there are (4) AA batteries installed
inside of the control module.
Frequent beeps for 3 seconds when the motor turns
indicates the batteries inside the Control Module are low.
1. Remove air panel, left and right side panels and screen
as shown on page 26.
2. Loosen silver thumb screw located on the top right side
of the control module.
3. Slide the control module assembly up and to the
left as shown.
4. The cover on the control module slides up, exposing
the (4) AA batteries. Replace with (4) AA alkaline
batteries. We recommend a name brand such as
Duracell or Energizer.
5. Replace the battery cover, slide control module back
into the fireplace and tighten silver thumb screw.
6. To reinstall the safety screen, reverse the steps on
page 26.
SÓLAS ONE-TOUCH REMOTE
BATTERIES
Your remote display will indicate when the batteries
are low
.
The remote uses a (2) AAA alkaline batteries—we
recommend a name brand such as Duracell or Energizer.
The batteries should last one full season, depending on
usage.
Remove the batteries in the off-season to extend
battery life.
NOTE: Even though your fireplace is hardwired to
120V in your home, the batteries in your SÓLAS
One-Touch remote control and control module are to
be replaced annually. Only use brand name alkaline
batteries such as Duracell or Energizer.
