ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING
The electrical and plumbing access panel is located on the
vent side of the unit.
1. Remove the (3) #10 sheet metal screws using a 5/16" nut driver
that hold the utility access panel to the fireplace.
2. Remove the utility access panel from the fireplace exposing
the junction box and gas line.
3. Remove 3 prong plug(s) from the junction box outlets
attached to the utility access panel.
4. Have a licensed electrician hardwire the junction box
provided in accordance with local codes. The electrical
supply required is 120v, 2.5 amps.
• It is recommended this fireplace be installed
on its own electrical circuit.
• Strain reliefs are required on electrical connections
entering the junction box.
5. Reinstall 3 prong plug(s) in junction box outlets.
6. Have a licensed plumber connect gas piping to the 3/8" female
flare connection provided in accordance with local codes. Be
sure to check for gas leaks.
7. Reinstall utility access panel with the (3) #10 sheet metal
screws using a 5/16" nut driver.
