2.2  Appropriate use

The SolarMax TS series inverters are designed exclusively to convert the direct current 
generated by PV modules into alternating current which conforms to the parameters of 
the public grid. Any other use is contrary to the purpose for which the inverters were 
designed. 

The inverter may only be connected to a suitable medium-voltage transformer. It is not 
permitted to connect the unit directly to a medium-voltage switch circuit or to the power 
grid.

SolarMax Produktions GmbH accepts no liability for damages resulting from using 
inverters for purposes other than this. Any modifications to the inverter performed by the 
system operator or the electrician without a review and approval by SolarMax Produktions 
GmbH are prohibited.
