TROUBLESHOOTING
The following table shows the most common causes of problems and their solutions:
Problem description
Possible causes
Solution
The controller has been installed
according to the instructions, but
after you switch on the circuit
breaker, no LED lights up or
flashes.
The circuit breaker is on,
but there is no supply
voltage.
Check or measure if the mains voltage is
really connected to the L and N terminals.
Controller fault
Replace the controller.
The controller has been installed
according to the instructions, but
after you switch on the circuit
breaker, the green LED flashes
quickly, the controller does not
work and the web interface cannot
be loaded.
The controller is switched
on in the boot mode
without any application
firmware.
Use the HC downloader program to install
the latest version of the application
firmware or the version you prefer. In this
case you have to install the application via
the USB interface which is not blocked by
the controller access authorization.
The controller does not
communicate with the computer.
The controller is not under
voltage
Check if the green LED PWR is on and if
the controller is powered.
The computer is not
connected correctly with
the controller.
Check the USB/network cable connection,
try using a different network cable or try
the existing cable on a different device
(e.g. a printer).
In the case of network connection there
can be a problem in the router or in other
network components. Try restarting the
device or connecting the network cable to
another port. The device may also be
incorrectly configured, the same applies
to the local network configuration. If you
experience any problems, contact a
computer or network expert.
The computer does not
detect the connected
controller
Check the USB/network cable connection.
When the USB device is being registered,
the yellow LED COM must flash quickly. If
your network cable is connected correctly,
at least 1 LED on the controller network
connector must be on.
The USB interface driver
has not been installed
correctly in the computer.
Check that the USB interface driver is
installed correctly and that the PC device
manager detects it as a USB serial
converter.
The USB interface driver is
not configured correctly.
Use the USB interface driver configuration
window in the HC downloader program to
configure all parameters to the default
values.
The LAN/UDP interface
driver is not set correctly.

configuration window in the HC
