and its duration depends on the type and speed of your connection from 20 s to 60 s. Updating via the
LAN interface is protected against unauthorized access by authorization.
Updating of the original firmware is completely safe. The system fully checks the integrity of the
update file and the integrity of the data after loading them in the unit. If a power failure occurs
during updating, it is possible to load the firmware again at any time after the power supply is
switched on. If possible, you should load the software via USB or ONLY from the local network (if an
error occurs during loading an update, the controller remembers the network configuration only for
about 2 minutes). It is forbidden to change the file of a downloaded update in any way. Otherwise,
in spite of the integrity check, the product may be damaged and your warranty will be void!
“Buy optional functions” – it will show a dialog of the same name in which it is possible to buy optional
SW extensions and to activate them in the controller. For more details see the Chapter “Buy Optional
Functions”.
“Finish” – it will close the program.
BUY OPTIONAL FUNCTIONS WINDOW
In this window you can buy and activate software (SW) extensions.
“Optional functions” – it shows available SW extensions including their prices. If prices are not shown,
the controller does not have access to the Internet or the website of the manufacturer is not
accessible. In this case you cannot proceed with your purchase and activation of these optional
functions.
“Log in to your user account” – it is used for logging to the user profile created by a customer on the
manufacturer’s website.
“Order” – by pressing this button we create an order of the selected SW extensions on the
manufacturer’s website.
“Activate” – after we have paid for the order, we can activate the purchased SW extensions in the
controller.
Complete ordering and activation procedure:

: It is necessary to perform this procedure on one PC (laptop) and in the same HC downloader software.
Restrictions of HTTP protocol communication or other user restrictions which prevent connection of the
software to the Internet or saving temporary values on the hard disk must not be active in the PC. If you have
any problems, contact an IT expert. Any purchased optional functions are dependent on the serial number of the
controller and are activated directly in the controller after purchase.

Connect to the controller for a short time so that the serial number of your controller can be
determined.

Then connect to the Internet.

Enter the access data to your user profile on the manufacturer’s website (if you do not have a user
profile, create it on the manufacturer’s website), tick the required optional functions and press the
“Order” button.

If everything is correct, an order will be created on the manufacturer’s website; confirm it on the
manufacturer’s website and pay the advance invoice after you receive it.

Wait until you receive the statement (invoice, tax document). Depending on the chosen payment
method it can even take several days.
