Introduction

1.1 Description

The KudosPro LC2000/LC2000-IQ/LC4000/LC4000-IQ units are motion adaptive linear
standards converters for a range of applications including:

•

High-density international program distribution

•

Low-cost frame rate conversion

•

International TV and video back-up channels

These units are ideal for customers who wish to perform low-cost, flexible frame rate
conversions.

1.1.1 LC2000-IQ/LC4000-IQ Only

KudosPro units with the IQ suffix can be fitted with up to two IQ modules and rear panels.
When ordered with the KudosPro unit the IQ modules will be factory fitted before shipping.
Any IQ modules fitted are controlled using RollCall and cannot be controlled from the front
panel of the LC2000-IQ/LC4000-IQ unit.

1.2 Front Panel View

The front panel provides a user-friendly interface for complete control of the unit.

For information about front panel features, see page 30. For information about operating the
front panel, see page 32.

1.3 Rear Panel View: LC2000 and LC4000

The rear panel accommodates a CVBS option with AES unbalanced audio and composite
video connections.

1.4 Rear Panel View: LC2000-IQ and LC4000-IQ

The rear panel has space for up to two IQ module rear panels. CVBS and unbalanced AES
inputs and outputs are not supported.
