Scaler
The
Scaler
offers preset controls for management of the aspect ratio. The following controls
are available:
Scaler Presets
•
Use presets
: Enables all presets
•
SD input is 702
: Use for SD incoming content that uses a 702 sample line rather than
a 720 sample line.
•
SD output is 702
: Generates SD output with a 702 sample active line.
•
Up convert
: Sets the SD to UHD aspect ratio conversion.
Available up convert presets are:
LB = Letterbox, PB = Pillarbox, Vcrop - Vertical Crop, An = Anamorphic

Down convert
: Sets the UHD to SD aspect ratio conversion.
Available down convert presets are:
LB = Letterbox, PB = Pillarbox, Hcrop - Horizontal Crop, An = Anamorphic
In Config
Configures the unit to respond to aspect signaling control. If input signaling is not present,
