Working with WPS
The primary goal of WPS is to simply the security setup and management of wireless
networks. Your Adapter as an Enrollee or external Registrar supports the configuration setup
using the PIN configuration method or PBC configuration method through an internal or
external Registrar.
The following section describe the components on the
WPS
tab.
WPS AP List
The
WPS AP List
shows information about surrounding access points with WPS IE from the
last scan result. The information shown includes SSID, BSSID, channel, authentication, and
encryption settings. Double-clicking a row or clicking a row and then clicking the
Information
button displays a screen with information about the selected device.
